To celebrate the launch of our Autumn / Winter ’19 collection, we invited friends of the brand to a day out at the stunning Charleston House in Lewes, East Sussex. Providing the inspiration behind the new-season collection, the historic house - and country retreat of the Bloomsbury Group - set the scene for the perfect day out.
Guests sipped on homemade lemonade, golden milk and champagne as they enjoyed Charleston House's beautiful gardens which were in full bloom. A tour of the house followed, giving a rare glimpse into the intriguing and unconventional lives of the Bloomsbury Set.
Lunch was hosted by Jasmine Hemsley and included a delicious array of gram flour pizza pudas, Ayurvedic-inspired kitchari, and a squash and rainbow chard curry. Dessert consisted of cardamom millionaire shortbreads and buckwheat apple cakes washed down with fresh rosemary tea.
After lunch, guests were invited to connect with their inner artists as the wonderful Frances Costelloe led a life drawing class beneath the afternoon sun.
